If China teamed up with Russia in a war against Ukraine, a world war would start. Beijing understands this.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in an interview with Welt.
Zelensky sees China as an ally of Ukraine
The head of state noted that it is important for Ukraine that China does not support Russia in the war. Zelensky believes that such support for the aggressor country is impossible now.
The President of Ukraine admitted that he wanted to see China as an ally of Ukraine.
However, I see an opportunity for China to make a pragmatic assessment of what is happening. If China united with Russia, there would be a world war, and I think that China is aware of this,” Zelensky said.
