Ukraine initiated a “peace formula” at the G20 summit last year. It seeks to involve as many countries as possible in it.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said this at a press conference on February 24, 2 Channel 4 reports. He noted that currently 141 states have supported the peace initiative.
“I am working with our team and with Ukraine's partners to ensure that not only strategic allies join, who support from the first minutes of an unprovoked war. We want representatives of different continents. We work to have Latin America, representatives of Africa are involved” , – Zelensky said.

Democracy and people's right to life
According to the president, it is important that India and China join the “peace formula”. This will protect the world's security.
Our task is to involve absolutely everyone and show the world what it means to respect territorial integrity, the UN Charter and people's right to life . I think that the more people we attract from all continents, the more support for Ukraine will be. We have made the “peace formula” very democratic, like everything we do in Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
What is known about the “peace formula” “
On November 15, 2022, the President proposed a peace plan at the G20 summit. It consists of 10 items:
- Radiation and Nuclear Security.
- Food Security.
- Energy security.
- Release of all prisoners and deportees.
- Implementation of the UN Charter and restoration of territorial integrity and world order.
- Withdrawal of Russian troops and cessation of hostilities.
- Returning justice.
- Counteraction ecocide.
- Escalation Prevention.
- Fixing the end of the war.
On According to Zelensky, if the peace plan is implemented, it will not only stop the war in Ukraine. The formula will help eliminate the negative consequences of Russian aggression that the whole world is experiencing.
