The SBU detained an official in Mykolaiv who worked for the Russian invaders. Mayor Alexander Senkevich said that this would be the case with everyone who betrayed Ukraine.
Sienkevich noted that the information that the city council official turned out to be a collaborator stirred up the public. Therefore, the mayor decided to tell the details of the detention of the traitor.
The mayor spoke about the detention of an official of the Nikolaev City Council
Sienkiewicz said that on the morning of October 21 he received information from the SBU that the director of one of the municipal enterprises of Nikolaev is cooperating with the Russian invaders.
I personally wanted to be present during this detention in order to look this bastard in the eye,” the mayor said.
After that, Senkevich, together with the SBU officers, arrived at a meeting where a collaborator official was present.
< p>“I must say right away that it was not in the city council and not in my office, as some media write, because I have not had my own office since the beginning of the war. We are not and do not work in the city council,” the mayor emphasized.
He noted that the SBU detained and announced suspicion to the collaborator. In turn, during the meeting, the mayor said that this would be the case with everyone who dares to betray Ukraine.
“Of course, there will still be a court and the court itself will pass a sentence. be the highest punishment. Because we pay a very high price for such cooperation – with the lives of innocent people of Mykolaiv,” Senkevich added.
The Mayor thanked the SBU officers for their effective work.

Briefly about the detention of a collaborator
The SBU said that the head of the utility company was detained” Nicholas Ritual Service. One of the tasks of the traitor was the organization of a powerful intelligence group of Russian special services. The investigators found that:
- The attacker “surrendered” to the enemy the personal data of the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, employees of the National Police and the regional prosecutor's office.
- He also handed over to the occupiers the lists of the dead Ukrainian defenders, collected intelligence about the deployment and movement routes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- Informed the invaders about the operation of the critical infrastructure of Nikolaev and other closed issues that were discussed during meetings in the City Council.
Besides this , the official tried to involve 4 more people with pro-Kremlin views in intelligence activities. Their actions were coordinated by a representative of the Russian special services, located in the temporarily occupied Kherson.
