Russia is resorting to attacks on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure to intimidate the people. The West is responding to such actions by the occupiers by promising to provide more weapons and anti-aircraft systems.
This Channel 24 said Advisor to the Interior Minister Rostislav Smirnov. According to him, any steps of the Russian invaders will be counter-offensive steps from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
No actions of Russia will stop the liberation of our land
Smirnov stressed that, regardless of what they say in Russia and their means, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to liberate all our territories.
We will liberate Kherson anyway. We will still go to dismiss Donetsk and Luhansk, other regions, Crimea, – said the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs.
According to him, no matter what they come up with in Russia and no matter what calls they make, this will not stop us. Instead, the occupiers can continue shelling in order to intimidate the people.
Think about the cynicism and, I would even say, already some agony. That is, the “second army of the world” already speaks directly, is no longer veiled, but it boasts of this – that we are hitting critical infrastructure, – Smirnov noted.
And this, the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized, is still civilian objects. And the Russians are proud that they strike at civilian infrastructure in order to leave the ordinary population of Ukraine without gas, heating, electricity and communications.

Ukraine is already more successful in destroying kamikaze drones
Smirnov noted that any steps of the Russian invaders will be, in particular, counter-offensive steps on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And after each shelling, which is a high price, we manage to return to the issue of deepening cooperation with the West, providing more weapons and anti-aircraft systems.
I think within two weeks we forget about the security we had last week regarding kamikaze drones,” he said.
Because, the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs explained, firstly, we will have anti-drone systems. And secondly, our defenders have already learned how to shoot down kamikaze drones. Previously, after all, almost 90 – 95% of them flew. Now the situation is much different and less than 30% of launched drones reach.
And the third thing we should not forget about is other help from the West. Because after the shelling of civilian infrastructure and after their conditional boasting, the West also reacts that somewhere it works into our hands,” Smirnov noted.
The adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs added that this is not quite the price that should to be. But otherwise, modern politics probably does not work.
Attack of Kyiv with kamikaze drones: the main thing
