At the time of the missile strike, Ekaterina was asleep, but woke up, saw a flash and that there were no windows. She was able to go into the corridor where she was until rescuers got her. At the same time, the employees of the State Emergency Service asked the girl where she was sitting, what she saw in front of her and what room she had been in before.
They began to dig the rubble and shone on me. Then they offered to pick me up to carry me out. But I walked normally and went down on my own,” Ekaterina said.
