In Kyiv, in a house on Obolon, which was hit by a Russian shell on the morning of March 14, residents continue to collect their things. In some apartments you can hear people talking. Only the last two entrances look intact.
However, almost no windows survived the powerful explosion, and some balconies fell. On the ground you can see scattered children's things. Channel 24 website journalists talked to the people of Kiev about the terrible night when the devastating explosion took place.
Memories of the people of Kiev
Marina, a resident of Kyiv, lives very close by. The woman remembered that the explosion occurred around 5 am.
They say the house will be demolished. The explosion was very strong. The sound was so loud that it's hard to convey. The house shook, I jumped out of bed and looked into the distance. I saw a huge fireball. I fell to the floor and started to wake the baby. I shout: “Ivan, rise! Something exploded very strongly,” she said.

It was scary
He called on the phone and said that “mom, there was a very big explosion, there are a lot of firefighters and police.” It lasted about three hours, this fire. The next day I went out and looked at what had happened. It was very scary, everything was destroyed, the rescue services sorted everything out.
