Ukrainian fighter Yaroslav Amosov will defend his Bellator welterweight championship belt on November 17. His opponent will be 32-year-old American Jason Jackson.

In the fight, which will take place in Chicago, Amosov will claim his 28th consecutive victory in mixed martial arts.

Now it is the Ukrainian who has the longest winning streak in professional MMA. In addition, the victory will bring him closer to Khabib Nurmagomedov's historical record of 29 consecutive victories in mixed martial arts.

Then the athlete entered the territorial defense of the Kiev region and carried out tasks to de-occupy his native Irpen and neighboring settlements.

– Two different lives… My life goes on, I’m preparing to defend my title, but in the photo there are people whose lives were taken by the war. During preparation, of course, I get tired. But when it’s difficult for me, I remember those days in Irpen. For almost 2 years, the war claimed the lives of several of my brothers. I put aside thoughts about my fatigue, because I know who is having a hard time in the trenches right now. “Great respect to those people who defend our country,” he wrote.

Amosov urged not to forget to help and donate to Ukrainian defenders. He emphasized: You are alive because they are ready to give their lives! Glory to Ukraine!

In February, Amosov successfully defended the Bellator welterweight title, defeating American Logan Storley. The fight took place in Dublin as part of the Bellator 291 evening. The Ukrainian won by unanimous decision – three times 50:45.
