Two-time world champion in taekwondo died in Ivano-Frankivsk Daniil Demchishin. He was 25 years old.
His coach Oleg Solovey reported this on the social network.
— Terrible grief, this morning Daniil Demchishin died under tragic circumstances. Daniil, my pupil since childhood, was actually like a son, a two-time world champion, a three-time European champion, the pride of the VST (All-Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Union) and Ukraine, — written by Nightingale.
According to local media, the athlete drowned while swimming on the city lake.

What is known about Daniil Demchishin
He was born in 1998. He had the title of international master of sports in taekwondo and kickboxing WAKO.
Demchishin twice became the world champion in taekwondo, and also won the European Taekwondo Championship three times. In addition, among his achievements is the gold of the 2016 European Cup in Romania.
He won the WAKO European Kickboxing Championship and the WAKO Student Kickboxing Euro.
