“That is why it is very important to support states such as Moldova, Georgia or Bosnia and Herzegovina,” he said.

He also stressed that Russia's actions sparked a large-scale military conflict in Europe, which led to significant human suffering and significant destruction in Ukraine.

He concluded by warning that Russia's aggressive actions could have far-reaching consequences. In his view, if Russia gains any benefit from its aggression, it will likely further whet its appetite for escalating war in Europe.
