Zelensky about the battle for Kyiv/Office of the President

The President of Ukraine said this in an interview with the 60 Minutes program on the American CBS television channel. When asked if our state won the battle for Kyiv, Volodymyr Zelensky replied: “I think so, but this is not the final victory.”

“I'm not sure that it (the battle – Channel 24) is the last one. I'm sure that we can't say that we won the battle for Kyiv,” the president said.
He explained that he would be able to talk about the results of the battle for the capital only after Ukraine wins this war, when we liberate our territories.
“Bucha is part of the big Kyiv, Kyiv region; Irpin, Gostomel (also – Channel 24). If people were killed there, then whether we won the battle, I'm not sure. We held on and did not give up ours, I can confirm this. And whether we won, I can't say yet,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy explained .
