In the Chernivtsi region, a drunk guy brutally killed a peacock for fun. A criminal case has been opened in the police on this fact.
A resident of Bukovina faces 8 years in prison
It turned out that a terrible incident occurred on 3 June near the Siret River in the village of Karapchev. The company rested there, which was so “fun” by the murder of a majestic bird. The drunk young man in the video turned out to be an 18-year-old local resident.
Law enforcement officers identified the flayer by monitoring social networks. According to the investigation, the guy bought the peacock in advance.
Realizing that his actions would cause significant pain to the animal and could cause injury or death, the suspect inflicted bodily harm on him with particular cruelty. The fact of bullying was recorded by his friends on a video that was published on social networks, – they said in the Office of the Prosecutor General.
A criminal case was initiated under the article on cruelty to animals, which resulted in death. Bukovina has already been announced on suspicion, and the court will soon choose a measure of restraint for him. The police of the Chernivtsi region said that now the killer of the bird faces up to 8 years behind bars.
Note that the pre-trial investigation in the criminal case is carried out by investigators of the Chernivtsi district police department.

His friends watched this terrible sight. Note that no one interfered with the young man. On the contrary, cheerful laughter was heard in the background. The company supported the killer of the animal, and later it was one of the eyewitnesses who published this video online.
According to social networks, the flayer is a car service worker. Due to the publicity of this situation, he wrote an apology on his Instagram page, but subsequently deleted his profile.
