France has tripled the production of Caesar self-propelled artillery systems, as a result Ukraine can receive significantly more of these howitzers.
The CEO of Nexter Group, vice-president of the French Defense Industry Association, announced this at the Defense Industries Forum Nicolas Chamoussy.
— We supplied Ukraine with various weapons systems, spare parts and trained Ukrainian soldiers to maintain and repair our systems. We are currently continuing to send spare parts. Therefore, this forum is to understand what to do next from the point of view of local production, — he said.
In addition, Chamoussy noted that he had signed an agreement with the Defense Procurement Directorate of Ukraine. As part of the agreement, all French and Ukrainian companies can enter into individual agreements.

— Caesar is very powerful and suited for use by your military. So I'm guessing there will be more Caesar supplies. We have introduced dramatic changes in the industrial process to increase production capabilities. Since the beginning of the war, we have tripled the production of Caesar self-propelled guns, and doubled the production of ammunition. After all, our common goal — help Ukraine, — said Chamoussy.
Recall that during the first International Forum of Defense Industries in Kiev, President Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine is creating an Alliance of Defense Industries to localize the production of weapons and military equipment.
