Hurricane Milton came out of the Gulf of Mexico and covered the west coast of Florida in the USA. a little earlier than predicted and further south. Experts warned that the consequences would be catastrophic.

CNN writes that the strongest part of the hurricane, the “eye wall”, passed near the cities of Tampa and St. Petersburg.

Preliminarily, the US National Weather Service (NWS) warned of the beginning of the most dangerous phase of the hurricane, which is accompanied by strong winds and heavy rains.

Residents of the coast were advised to urgently seek shelter, since the speed of constant winds in the center of “Milton” reached more than 190 kilometers per hour.

Earlier, even before reaching Florida, the hurricane weakened a little – from category 5 danger dropped to 3. However, as experts warned, there will still be consequences catastrophic.
