Davidyuk about Orban's cynical statement/Channel 24 Collage
Hungary is making the same mistake again as it did during World War II when it took the side of evil. It's a one way trip – they will definitely lose.

Ukrainian political scientist Mykola Davidyuk told Channel 24 about this. According to him, Hungary again repeats its mistake, which it already made in the late 30s and 40s of the twentieth century – it chooses the side of evil. Then they paid a heavy price: they gave away part of the territory that they had previously captured.
They are now repeating the mistake again – they are taking the side of evil. I want to disappoint them, they will lose. Evil can not win when all good, normal, honest countries unite against it. And it is precisely such people who support Ukraine,โ Davidyuk stressed.
The position of the Hungarian authorities is the message of weak politicians
The Hungarian authorities once again demonstrate that they do not care about someone else's grief. Davidyuk notes that this is the rhetoric of weak people. Leadership in the world now belongs to people like Ukrainians โ we are not indifferent to someone else's grief. After all, we are ready even in time of war, for example, to help other states with our grain so that there is no hunger there.
According to Davidyuk, Orban is a real coward . He hides behind populism, fears of the population and dreams of taking away foreign lands. This path will not lead to anything good.
The political scientist notes that he was not surprised by Orban's statement. After all, he did not expect anything else from him. He's always trying to play along with Putin to get certain political bonuses or money or “stinky Russian gas”. But as soon as the threat of a cut in European funding looms over him, Orban immediately becomes pro-Ukrainian.
Don't expect too much sentiment from Hungary . Of course, we should be grateful to them for their help. But at the same time, it should be understood that part of the Hungarians and Orban and the company literally support Putin.
But still, we need to leave a bridge for possible cooperation, because we need additional ways for the import of weapons to Ukraine and other additional opportunities that this country can give. Even from such a bad situation, it will be possible to get some good positive moments, – said Davydyuk.
The other day, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the EU took the wrong position when it supported Ukraine. According to him, the sanctions really did not shake Moscow, and Europe is in a political and economic crisis. He is convinced that Ukraine will not be able to win the war, despite Western weapons. Therefore, it is necessary to sit down for peace negotiations. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry responded harshly to such absurd statements by Orban.
