Dmitry Tuzhansky, a political scientist and analyst on the Hungarian issue in Transcarpathia, told Channel 24 about this. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban does not have to be Putin's agent to broadcast Russian narratives, he said. He made the country dependent on Russian gas and oil, and now he can talk about the so-called “protection of Hungarian interests.”

According to Tuzhansky, it is very dangerous that Russian hybrid influences are integrated into the national interests of Hungary. After all, she is a representative of the EU and NATO and, in general, the region against which Russia is conducting hybrid aggression.
Because of this dependence, Hungary constantly plays along with Putin. And the Russian president, obviously, is very pleased with this.
It turns out that Hungary cannot resist, but only plays along with Russia. Hungary today is Putin's “ideal” Europe. When you do not need to be a spy, but simply integrate this dependence and blackmail at the right time. In my opinion, now this is all happening, – said Tuzhansky.
He added that Hungary is a challenge for the entire Western world.
