The day before The President of Hungary, Katalina Novak, paid a working visit to Transcarpathia during the Third International Summit of the Crimean Platform.

— The head of the neighboring state met with the leadership of the OVA, the regional council, Berehove and the district. Together they discussed the results and prospects for strengthening cross-border cooperation, including those projects that were launched under the conditions of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, & # 8212; said in a message on Facebook.
During the visit, Novak discussed humanitarian support, assistance to refugees and internally displaced persons in the region, the organization of summer holidays for Ukrainian children in different parts of Hungary, the implementation of joint environmental, educational, cultural and other initiatives.
— We value our work with partners in protecting Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homes because of the war. We are grateful to Hungary and its citizens for providing humanitarian assistance to our country, — said acting Miroslav Biletsky, head of the IUA.
In addition, he expressed hope that the successful implementation of joint projects will contribute to investment development, socio-economic growth of the border regions of both countries.
Let us recall that The Crimean Platform Summit will be held on August 23rd. It will discuss the territorial integrity and future of Crimea, as well as security in the Azov-Black Sea region.
