Hungarian opposition politician and Tisza Party leader Péter Magyar has criticized the campaign called Voks 2025, which was carried out by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's team, calling it a “total failure.”
The politician wrote about this on Facebook.
Hungarian opposition says Orban poll failed
Madyar claims that according to post offices across the country, only 3-7% of citizens returned completed paper ballots. That's about 500,000 people. At the same time, the number of online votes was even smaller compared to paper ones.

According to him, despite the propaganda statements, in reality no more than 600 thousand people could have taken part in the voting.
“This is the lowest result in the entire history of the National Consultations. And this is in conditions when the campaign lasted for several months, with total mobilization and burning of tens of billions of state funds. A total failure,” the leader of the opposition party emphasized.
Madjar also pointed out that during the existence of Voks 2025, not a single stand or open meeting was opened – only letters were sent out. He emphasized that 10 billion forints (about $28.6 thousand) were spent on this so-called survey, which could have been used to repair hospitals or improve railways.
“The failed, corrupt government is not interested in the real problems of the people, does not dare to look them in the eye. It only writes letters,” he added.
Let us recall that in March, Orban announced a poll in Hungary on support for Ukraine's membership in the EU. He even published a photo in which he demonstratively put a mark against.
