Russian invaders continue to destroy Ukrainian cities and villages. However, it is already known where Ukraine will take the money to restore the destroyed infrastructure.

Oleg Ustenko, presidential adviser on economic issues, spoke about this. He noted that several hundred billion dollars would be required.

Ustenko: Ukraine will need to be restored immediately

According to Ustenko, Ukraine will need to be rebuilt immediately after the end of the war. This will need to be done quickly and immediately, because in the first week of the war, the occupiers destroyed the value of about 100 billion dollars.

In order to rebuild us, we ourselves or the world community in general need several hundred billion dollars,” he stressed.

Vladimir Zelensky’s adviser said that the first major source of replenishment of the fund for the restoration of Ukraine will be 300 billion frozen dollars < strong>from the Central Bank of Russia.

“We are negotiating on this matter. There is a preliminary vision that the money will be able to go into the fund for the restoration of Ukraine,” Ustenko assured.

Other additional money will be the sale of seized material property from Vladimir Putin's entourage, the presidential adviser noted. We are talking about those people who are sanctioned.

“Promissory notes will be issued for the value of the property. These debts will be sold on the international market. There are many who want to buy, not because they will try to make money on them, but because it is assistance to Ukraine. The money will be lent for specific property,” he explained.
