Ukrainian defenders continue to repel enemy attacks at the front. As of March 9, they are throwing significant forces for an offensive in the Donbass.

Where the Russian offensives continue

At present, the main efforts of the enemy continue to be concentrated on the conduct of offensive operations. in Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Shakhtyorsky directions.

The situation in different directions

• On the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the formation of offensive groupings was not revealed. At the same time, the enemy fired at the areas of the settlements of Senkovka in the Chernihiv region; Kharkivka and Atinskoe of the Sumy region and Strelka, Ternovaya, Vilcha, Kamenka, Dvurechnaya and Golubovka of the Kharkov region.
• On the Kupyansky and Limansky directions, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Gryanikovka, Disputed and Belogorovka. He carried out artillery attacks on more than 15 settlements. Among them are Olshana, Kupyansk, Kislovka, Pervomayskoye, Peschanoe and Cherneshchina of the Kharkov region; Stelmakhovka, Nevskoe and Krasnopopovka-Lugansk, as well as Novoselivka, Wells, Dibrova, Berestovo, Yampol, Seversk, Razdolevka and Yagodnoe in the Donetsk region.
• In the Bakhmut direction, the invaders do not stop assault operations in the direction of the city of Bakhmut. Our defenders repulsed the attacks in the areas of the settlements of Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye and Aleksandro-Shultino. More than 10 settlements were subjected to enemy shelling, in particular, Zheleznyanskoye, Grigorovka, Bogdanovka, Bakhmut, Konstantinovka, Kurdyumovka, Ozaryanovka, Dilievka, Druzhba, New York and Northern Donetsk region.
• On the Avdiivka and Shakhtyorsk directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of the settlements of Kamenka, Severnoye, Pervomayskoye, Nevelskoye, Novomikhailovka, Maryinka and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region. Areas of 20 settlements were subjected to enemy shelling. Among them are Alexandropol, Lastochkino, Avdeevka, Vodyanoye, Pervomayskoye, Karlovka, Georgievka, Vuhledar, Zolotaya Niva, Bolshaya Novoselka, Nevelskoye, Krasnogorovka, Pobeda, Prechistovka and Neskuchnoye in the Donetsk region.
• The enemy is on the defensive in the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions . More than 30 settlements were subjected to shelling. In particular, these are Vremovka, Novoselka and Novopol of the Donetsk region, Gulyaipole, Zheleznodorozhnoe, Belogorye, Malaya Tokmachka, Orekhov, Novoandreevka, Kamenskoe, Temirovka, Olgovskoe, Krasnoye, Staroukrainka, Volshebnoe and Novoandreevka in Zaporozhye, as well as Zmeevka, Nikolaevka, Olgovka, Lvovo, Ponyatovka, Nikolskoe, Antonovka, Zelenovka, Dneprovskoe, Kachkarovka, Krasny Mayak, Tyaginka, Tokarovka and Fedorovka of the Kherson region.
