The project is being implemented in partnership between Starlight Media and the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center with the support of the USAID DOBRE Program.

Participants filled out questionnaires, where they talked about their project and presented it using a video business card.

The 20 best community projects were selected through public online voting, which lasted from October 14 to November 10, 2024.

Another 20 finalists of the Hromada for All 100 competition were selected by the expert jury. The history and idea of each of the finalist communities will be told live and on other media platforms of STB Windows and ICTV Fakty.

And the best of the contenders in the final will be chosen by the jury.

The winning community will receive a reward of 100 thousand dollars to implement its project!

According to the head of the USAID DOBRE Program Brian Kemple, it was very difficult for the jury members to select the finalists, because all the projects are important for the further development of communities, especially in war conditions.

— It was very difficult to choose the finalists, because the contestants submitted many interesting ideas and projects. But, perhaps, one of the important factors is how much this project strengthens the resilience of the community. How much it can help the community cope with the challenges that war brings, — said Brian Kemple.

According to the USAID DOBRE Program Manager, one of the significant criteria in the expert jury's assessment was the video about the project and the community's creative approach to its creation.

— I was amazed that veterans who were seriously wounded in the war speak out in videos in support of their community projects, — added Brian Kemple.

Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Natalia Kozlovskaya noted the creative approach of the participating communities in preparing projects and the diversity initiatives.

— The topics of the projects are quite diverse and cover many areas of community life. Among the priorities are ideas aimed at strengthening energy security at the local level, developing veterans' policies and rehabilitating veterans. It is important for us that the communities have a long-term vision of their development, and that their projects correspond to the goals of strategic documents, and also have prospects for continuation, — said Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Natalia Kozlovskaya.
