Acted — is a French non-governmental humanitarian organization that helps Ukrainians affected by the war.

Is it possible to receive UAH 6,660 from Acted in 2024

In 2022 and 2023, the French humanitarian organization allocated financial assistance to Ukrainians in the amount of UAH 6,660 per family member. It was available to residents of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions. To receive it, you must belong to one of the most vulnerable groups of the population.

Who was eligible to receive financial assistance from Acted:

  • one of the parents who is raising children on their own;
  • persons over 60 years old;
  • families with disabled people who need care;
  • large families, provided that one of the children is under 1 year old;
  • families with pregnant or nursing women;
  • persons whose housing was completely or partially destroyed due to military action.

Each person was given 2,220 UAH per month for three months. That is, one person could receive 6,660 UAH. But now registration for this assistance has been stopped, applications are no longer accepted.

What assistance does the Acted organization provide to Ukrainians in 2024

The organization offers several types of assistance. It can be either in the form of money or food, which helps meet the needs of Ukrainians in the frontline territories for food.

On July 18, 2024, a grant competition was announced to support local initiatives involved in the restoration of frontline and recently liberated territories of the Kharkiv and Zaporizhia regions.

Volunteers, volunteer groups, and homeowners associations are welcome to participate in the competition. The size of the subsidy is 300 pounds sterling. According to the competition, the expert committee will select grant recipients from communities in the Kharkiv and Zaporizhia regions.

The organization offers emergency support programs for livelihoods. They are currently operating in the Sumy, Chernihiv, and Odessa regions. Nine settlements in the Oleksandrivska community of the Donetsk region are also involved in the program.

The main task is to restore livelihoods and support people affected by the armed conflict. The food program and assistance from the French organization Acted will help meet the needs of households in the production of meat, milk, eggs, vegetables and fruits for their own consumption.
