What is the situation in the Luhansk region

Head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai said on the air of the telethon that infidels are not restoring infrastructure in the occupied territories. According to him, using the example of infrastructure and critical communications, people saw what the “Russian world” is and what the promises of the occupiers are worth.

Gaidai noted that the invaders said that everything would be restored and rebuilt. However, before the heating season, as the head of the Lugansk OVO stated, nothing happens.

He said that the Russians would not be able to restore the infrastructure, because they had been destroying it with shelling for four months in a row. According to him, the invaders are already saying that there is no point in restoring, for example, Popasnaya.

Gaidai also said that the Russians gave slop instead of a normal centralized water supply for people in Severodonetsk.

Kharkiv region is preparing for the heating season

Oleg Sinegubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, spoke about how the Kharkiv region is preparing for the heating season on the air of the telethon. He said that on August 10, a meeting was held under the leadership of the Minister for the Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshev.

During the meeting, issues of preparation for the heating season and the restoration of critical infrastructure were raised. Sinegubov said that Kharkiv OVA is cooperating with the city authorities.

The head of the Kharkiv OVA confirmed that CHPP-3 was destroyed and the authorities are doing everything to start the winter heating season according to plan.

The state of restoration of CHPP-3 Sinegubov did not report for security reasons. He stressed that in addition to CHPP-3, CHPP-5 was under attack. Both CHPs are critical infrastructure. The Russians also destroyed the thermal power plant in Chuguev, which had a load of almost 40%.

In private homes, if possible, Sinegub advises installing alternative sources of heating. At the same time, the authorities will try to provide heat in high-rise buildings, since pellets or potbelly stoves will not save people.

Oleg Sinegubov said that heating places will be equipped in the Kharkiv region. Currently, preparations are underway for the purchase of appropriate equipment.

In Nikolaev they call for evacuation

The mayor of Nikolaev, Alexander Senkevich, said on the air of the telethon that the temperature regimes in this heating season will be less.

If earlier we wanted +18+21 in apartments, today these parameters will be less. I can’t say which ones exactly, but they will be smaller, he said.

Senkevich commented on whether heating places will be equipped in Nikolaev. In this regard, he spoke with the Minister for the Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshev. In particular, it was about equipping heating places in gyms and schools.

According to the mayor of Nikolaev, equipping heating places is dangerous due to constant shelling. Therefore, he recommends that Nikolaev residents evacuate from the city.
