Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of May 16, 2024 No. 563 caused concern among men living abroad. After all, according to this decree, men who live abroad and were removed from military registration had to register again and arrive at the TCC. Moreover, it was worth doing this before June 17.
June 7, 2024, changes were made to the previous Resolution regarding men living abroad. To register for military service, you can personally come to the TCC after returning to Ukraine. Upon arrival at the recruitment center, you must submit a corresponding application so that the man can be registered for military service. Moreover, this application can be made in any form. It can be submitted not only to the TCC, but also to the regional body of the SBU, or its central office.

How to register for military service abroad without visiting the TCC
A man can register for military service by contacting a diplomatic institution.
Instructions on how to register for military service abroad:
- A man must contact a diplomatic institution along with his foreign passport.
- You must submit an application for registration in any form.
- In the application you must provide information about your military ID number, as well as your military registration specialty number and rank.
- You can also use the postal service. You must put a copy of the first page of your passport and the information specified above in the envelope.
In turn, the diplomatic institution sends the documents by e-mail to the territorial center. It must do this within 7 days. This greatly simplifies the procedure and does not require men to return to Ukraine.
