First of all, you need to draw up a donation agreement (DA) with a notary, which will certify the transfer of ownership from the donor (car owner) to the recipient. This document will define the rights and obligations of both parties. The donor has the right to transfer the car to another person, while releasing the recipient from compensation or payment. In turn, the recipient undertakes to use the car properly.
However, in the terms of the contract, the owner may specify some restrictions on use. For example, that the car cannot be sold or other actions taken in relation to the vehicle without his consent.

To register a deed of gift for a car, the presence of two parties is required — this is the person who decided to give the gift, as well as the person accepting the gift.
After signing the document and notarizing it, the donor will be deprived of ownership rights, and the one to whom the gift was given, on the contrary, will acquire ownership of the car.
