- contact the police department directly;
- view information on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs services.
To view information about the search for a person, you need to select item Persons hiding from authorities on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs services, fill in the data for a specific person and view information about him. For the search, the searching authority, the wanted article, the date of birth of the person, photograph (if available) are published.
Data on the search for people is published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the form of a register. This data is open and public. The list of persons on the operational wanted list is prohibited from being published 60~/strong>.

BPP lawyers told how to check whether a person is wanted by 2024 using special services. In addition to contacting the open search database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, you can check your identity in the following ways:
- use the YouControl People analytical system – it contains all open data about individuals. The system automatically checks information in registers and creates a dossier on a person.
- using the Opendatabot service – to do this, you need to open the Opendatabot website and make a request using the full name of an individual. As a result, you can find out whether the specified person is wanted, who is looking for him and for what reason (time).
- seek advice from a lawyer – specialists will assist in determining the status of a person on the wanted list, and will help determine whether there are orders, court decisions or restrictions in relation to a particular person.
- take advantage of databases for searching people throughout Ukraine – special resources may contain open data on the search of the SBU, Prosecutor's Office, Ministry of Internal Affairs, military registration and enlistment offices, the judiciary, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, tax and other government bodies.
- search through the media and the Internet – information about wanted persons can also be made public in the media and other resources.
