In the context of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there was a fuel shortage, which created new challenges for drivers. OKKO spoke about several ways to find out which gas stations have fuel.
This was reported to Channel 24 by Yaroslav Polyakov, head of the corporate communications department at OKKO filling stations. The company has rolled out several services to help drivers know where fuel is, she says.
Interactive map
As she said, the first service deployed by the company is an interactive map. Thanks to it, the client can see:
- where gas stations operate;
- the available type of fuel at a particular gas station;
- possible payment methods.
- In Ukraine, the government stopped the state regulation of fuel prices. They took such a step so that oil traders would fill the market with the necessary resource.
- Now our state is supplied with 15,000 tons of fuel per day. However, this is still not enough to solve the shortage problem.
- At the same time, in order for our market to function without a shortage, we need to import 80% more fuel than they do today. According to experts, Ukraine will reach a sufficient level of diesel fuel supply within a month, but the situation with gasoline is more complicated.

According to Polyakova, such a map is posted both on the OKKO corporate website and in the Fishka mobile app. It is noted that in the application you should choose a company among partners and pull up a card.
Telegram chatbot
As Polyakova noted, OKKO duplicated similar functionality in a telegram bot. He can be found on the social network by the name – @OKKOFUELBOT.
It is noted that you only need to press Start to start. Also, enable geolocation on your phone for the chatbot to work correctly and provide accurate data.
In my opinion, it is more convenient for people who are used to using telegram rather than maps , – said Polyakova.
Hotline
In addition, as OKKO noted, customers can always get the necessary information about the operation of filling stations and the availability of fuel by calling the company's hotline. You can also consult OKKO's social networks.
Updating information
As Polyakova explained, fuel information is updated approximately every 2 hours. That is, customers need to update data from time to time so as not to continue to stand in line when the gas station runs out of fuel.
Pilot project
a new option for drivers at gas stations. In their opinion, this should save customers time.
We have now launched a pilot project where possible. Where there are long queues, our employees roughly calculate the amount of fuel available at a particular filling station for the number of cars that want to refuel. – said Polyakova.
According to her, if, for example, there are about 50 cars in the queue, and there is enough fuel for 45, then the employees of the gas station try to notify the drivers about this so that the drivers do not get nervous and save their time.
