The key element of these processes is the economy. Fortunately, everyone can contribute to the support and development of the country's economy. It is not necessary to have super profits. The main thing is desire and action. Remember that everyone's contribution matters.
Focus on Ukraine
The economy and Ukrainians are an important rear for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, fearlessly defending our independence and freedom. Critical to the sustainability of the Ukrainian economy is the banking sector with a constant flow of funds. That is why it is now important to prefer Ukrainian banks, which have demonstrated their efficiency and stability even during a full-scale war. Support for Ukrainian banks is a contribution to the future and an effective way to support Ukraine.
At the same time, banks with foreign capital do not focus on supporting the Ukrainian economy and national business in the form of active lending.
Of course, keeping money in these banks with minimal interest may look like a safe option. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account an important factor – in the conditions of war, money should work to support the national economy and the defenders of Ukraine.
Ukrainian banks have proven their stability
One of the reasons for the stability of the national banking system – reforms. In addition, domestic state-owned banks are one of the strongholds of Ukrainian security in everyday life, which demonstrate a patriotic position.
Among them is the state-owned Ukrgasbank. The financial institution is actively cooperating with representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, corporate clients, as well as with ordinary citizens throughout the country.
One of the priorities of Ukrgasbank is to support Ukraine in economic terms at several levels at once. In particular, maintaining the level of efficiency, volume and pace of work, as well as further financing of the economy in war conditions.
By the way, the state-owned “Ukrgasbank” in wartime has already made about 30 trade finance transactions to ensure critical imports of fossil fuels (gas, diesel, gasoline) in the amount of about 150 million euros. Support for such bank agreements is traditionally provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (London).
Help by deed
First of all, Ukrgasbank is an active taxpayer. Since the beginning of the war, the financial institution has been doing this even in advance. For example, over the past few months, Ukrgasbank has replenished the state budget in the form of income tax in the amount of UAH 2.55 billion.
Such support is extremely needed by our state today, when the country has to spend all the means and forces to fight the enemy. This is our contribution to this fearless struggle, which should end only with the victory of Ukraine. the bank said.
In addition, Ukrgasbank sells military bonds, which are an important source of funds for the country. At the time of writing this material, we are talking about 8 billion UAH.
Restoration of cities
Another important project of the Ukrainian bank is the restoration of cities and towns that have been seriously affected by the crimes of the Russian aggressor. “Ukrgasbank” has launched a program of charitable deposits “Let's build cities together” for those who seek to join the development of a new Ukraine. We are talking about 40 cities and towns. By the end of June, more than 76 million hryvnias have already been collected for the restoration of cities.
Defenders of Ukraine are a priority
Ukrgasbank also takes care of the defenders of Ukraine fighting the enemy. To support them, the bank has created several special programs for the military and their families. We are talking about the “Military” deposit and new terms of service for military personnel and employees of law enforcement agencies on salary cards from Ukrgasbank.
In addition, Ukrgasbank has already transferred UAH 380 million for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and also added a function to support the Ukrainian army in its Ecobank Online application, so customers can join in helping and go to victory together.
