The human rights activist Pavel Lysyansky told Channel 24 about this. According to him, now it is impossible to influence the process of illegal mobilization.
How to protect yourself from mobilization
To avoid forced mobilization, the human rights activist advises men in the temporarily occupied territories to take the following steps.
- Don't get caught by the occupiers. “For men, the main advice is not to neglect security and hide“, Lysyansky stressed.
- Avoid military patrols. According to him, there are telegram channels where caring people share information about dangerous places where the invaders are mobilizing.
- In no case should you trust the so-called occupying power and not be subjected to pressure. The human rights activist said that in the occupied territories of Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, Russians force students to take academic leave and send them to fight. At the same time, they promise that upon returning from the front, students will study on a budget.
“Watch out and do not give in. Understand: you will be thrown to the front and will not be given any weapons or means of protection , no body armor. You will simply be sent to clear the minefields,” Lysyansky stressed.
Re-mobilization
According to the human rights activist, there are cases when forcibly mobilized people fell into The invaders sent them to war again after they were released.
I have information from relatives of prisoners of war who went to the exchange. Their relatives cannot find them. They say in the military commander's office that they were again sent to the front, – said Lisyansky.
He stressed that, therefore, one should not deal with the Russians at all.
“We want to show how Russia is killing workers”
Lisyansky added that human rights activists are now working to influence the situation at the international level. In particular, they are preparing an appeal in English to world workers' organizations.
We want to show how Russia is killing ordinary workers. And to discredit Russia in the world's left-wing political circles, where it has always been considered a leader,” Lisyansky said.
According to him, human rights activists hope that in this way they will be able to force the Kremlin to stop forced mobilization. In particular, in the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
