When does registration for creative competitions 2025 begin?
Only those applicants who have completed a complete general secondary education, as confirmed by a corresponding official document, can participate in creative competitions.
In 2025, registration of applications for participation in creative competitions begins:
- from July 3 to 18:00 on July 10 – for admission to the budget;
- from July 3 to 18:00 on July 25 – for admission to a contract.
Information on the deadlines for submitting applications and documents for participation in creative competitions is published on the official website of the higher education institution or its structural division.
Who needs to pass a creative competition or interview in 2025
In 2025, creative competitions must be taken by applicants who have chosen specialties with a creative focus.
These specialties include:
- Physical education and sports (A7);
- Audiovisual Arts and Production (B1);
- Design (specializations: graphic design, clothing/footwear design, environmental design, industrial design) (B2);
- Decorative arts and crafts (B3);
- Fine Arts and Restoration (B4);
- Musical Arts (B5);
- Performing Arts (B6);
- Architecture and urban planning (G1).
How to register for a creative competition: sequence of actions
Applications for entrance examinations are submitted primarily through applicants' electronic accounts. In exceptional cases, when such an account has not been created, documents may be submitted in paper form.
In their admission rules, higher education institutions may define an additional list of documents if this is due to the specifics of admission to a particular specialty or competitive proposal.
Please note! Persons participating in creative competitions are admitted to them only upon presentation of the original identity document.
To register for the creative competition, follow these steps:
- Log in to your personal account as an applicant on the platform of the Unified State Electronic Database on Education Issues EDEBO. In the menu on the left, find the section Registration for entrance examinations (creative competition, interview, professional test) and click on it.
- In the upper right corner, open the Active actions section and click Add . The system will open a form for submitting a new application.
- Please provide all necessary information in the completed form:
- Educational institution – start typing the name of the university, then select the desired one from the list generated by the system.
- Competitive proposal code – you can find out the required code in the Competitive proposals section on the EDEBO website by entering the name of the institution and specialty.
- Basis for admission – indicate what level of education you have, in particular, it may be: complete general secondary education, associate's degree, bachelor's degree, etc.
- The educational degree you are applying for, such as a bachelor's or master's degree.
- Specialty – can be found by code or name, for example, B2 Design.
- Select the desired creative competition.
- From the list of available tests, select the one that matches your chosen specialty and click Apply for admission test .
Next, the system will offer to choose a convenient date and time, if the university provides such a choice. If the test is held only on one day, simply confirm participation in the proposed option.
After this, you need to monitor the status of submitted applications.
All applications you have submitted will be displayed in the Applications for participation in entrance examinations tab. Here you can check the date, time and status of the scheduled competition or interview.
