Ukraine continues to prepare for the heating season 2022-2023. We tell you what is being done for this in Mykolaiv region. In a region that suffers daily from enemy attacks.
The head of the OVA Vitaly Kim spoke about preparations for the heating season in the Nikolaev region during a press briefing. He noted that the region is preparing for possible disruptions in the supply of heat by the Russians.
Preparing at the maximum pace
As Vitaly Kim noted, for the heating season In the Mykolaiv region, they are preparing for two months in a row. And they are doing it at the maximum pace in order to have time to provide warmth to the inhabitants of the region.

At the same time, he added that no one can be insured against force majeure situations. But today in the region everything is going according to the schedule. So the heating season in the Mykolaiv region should start on time.
How prepared are Ukraine for the heating season
On the eve, Prime Minister Denys Shmihal held a conference call with the leaders of the regions. They all discussed preparations for the heating season 2022-2023.
The Minister for the Development of Communities and Territories Alexei Chernyshev stressed that currently in our country work is being done to reduce the consumption of energy resources.To put this idea into practice, they use all available methods.
Yes, heat generating enterprises are beginning to transfer to alternative energy sources. They are also working on domestic insulation and the implementation of programs launched by the Energy Efficiency Fund.
In general, the preparation of the country for the heating season is going according to plan. Chernyshev announced the following figures during the meeting:
- readiness of housing facilities – 72%;
- readiness of heating networks – 74%.
In addition, the brigades continue to actively repair infrastructure. Recall that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the enemy has dealt many blows to these targets.
The government does not rule out that the season of such attacks will be even more. After all, the enemy will try by all possible means to force Kyiv to sit down at the negotiating table.
