The head of Estonian intelligence said that before the start of a full-scale invasion from the mobilization resource of equipment, the Russians had 9 thousand tanks, as well as 36 thousand armored personnel carriers. According to him, this amount is quite powerful.

Even if we look at this from the point of view that the equipment is outdated and they can conditionally make one out of three units, then this is still a huge number – 3 thousand tanks and 12 thousand armored personnel carriers. – he said.

Kiviselg emphasized that Russia also has large reserves of ammunition. Thus, an aggressor country can produce about 1.5 million artillery shells.

The head of the Estonian department said that the Russians have now launched almost continuous production at their factories, so they can produce even more shells. However, this does not apply to ballistics.

“These are so-called “stupid shells”. They, of course, cannot produce ballistics in such volumes. But the question is also in the artillery installations themselves. They are trying to restore them, but this is a challenge for Russia,” Kiviselg emphasized.

Finally, he said that the Russian air force still has many capabilities and remains effective against the Ukrainian military. After all, according to the head of Estonian intelligence, Russia has lost few fighter jets since February 24, 2022.
