Ukrposhta is one of the most popular carriers in Ukraine. Many Ukrainians choose this delivery method both within Ukraine and to other countries. Using Ukrposhta you can send packages and parcels. How long is a parcel stored at Ukrposhta?
Ukrposhta Express, Ukrposhta Standard and Ukrposhta Documents that were not delivered to the recipient on time (for which there is also no order from the sender or addressee) are stored in the post office or in the courier delivery area for 14 calendar days . This period is counted from the date of its receipt at the post office.
Universal Ukrposhta Standard item without declared value and other types of postal items can be stored in the department for 30 calendar days from the date of receipt at the post office or courier delivery site.

For each day of storage of postal items for more than 5 working days from the date of receipt of the item at the post office, an additional fee is charged in accordance with current tariffs.
The storage period for items can be extended upon written application from the sender or addressee (for an additional fee):
- Ukrposhta Standard shipment – up to two months from the date of its receipt at the post office;
- Ukrposhta Express shipment – up to 28 calendar days from the date of its receipt at the postal facility.
International postal items that arrive in Ukraine at the Ukrposhta branch are stored for one month from the date of their receipt.
How much does paid parcel storage cost at Ukrposhta 2023
The item can remain in the post office for free for up to 5 working days. After this, you will have to pay for storage according to the current tariffs of Ukrposhta (the day of issue is not taken into account).
Storing a shipment for more than 5 working days (for every day) costs 10 UAH/day , but not more than 50 UAH.
