Who is mobilized in Ukraine
In Ukraine , all citizens fit for military service or in reserve are subject to conscription. The head of the personnel department of the headquarters of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Roman Gorbach, said that military personnel with experience and specialists without experience are being called up.
Today we need specialists, both for new types of weapons provided by partners, and for replenishing losses. First of all, personnel are mobilized in certain military specialties,” said Roman Gorbach.
Persons liable for military service must come when called by the TCC for military registration and assignment for wartime.
Gorbach stressed that now they are also conscripting those who are of limited use – people with diseases that cause moderate impairment of body functions.
What are the waves of mobilization and how long will it last
The Armed Forces of Ukraine do not confirm that there are any waves of mobilization in Ukraine, the general mobilization was proclaimed along with martial law and has been ongoing continuously since February 24, 2022. All men liable for military service from 18 to 60 years old who have service experience, important specialties and are fit for health reasons are called up.

“There are no waves of mobilization. In most cases, citizens today are called to territorial recruitment centers in order to clarify military credentials. The decision to mobilize a citizen is made after the conclusion of a medical commission on fitness for military service,” he explained.
Since the mobilization was extended in Ukraine until May 20, so now it will last until May 20.
