A military medical commission must recognize a person as fit or not for military service. This can take place over different periods of time.
Details about the passage of the VLK were told by the lawyers of the Legal Hundred. They noted that the passage of the commission has no set deadlines.
“Restrictions on the terms of passage of the military medical commission in the legislation are not defined,” the lawyers wrote.
It should be noted that general mobilization continues in Ukraine from February 24, 2022.
Ukraine will reform VLK
Prime Minister Denys Shmigal said that Ukraine is now working to speed up and simplify the passage of the VLK Reform at the stage of discussion with government members, parliamentarians, representatives of the OP and the military.
References should “follow” the military, and not vice versa. We are working to remove unnecessary bureaucracy and possible abuses of the process of passing through military medical commissions,” the prime minister said.
Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar said what exactly should be updated in the GDL. It is about 5 areas:
- introduction of an electronic medical information system (MIS);
- electronic queues;
- electronic document management;
- the number of VLK;
- service maintenance of military establishments of VLK.
