  • Instead of transferring vacation, you can receive compensation for unused days that fall during the period of temporary disability.

According to labor legislation of Ukraine, the decision to extend or postpone annual leave is made by mutual consent of the employee and the employer.

How to extend vacation after sick leave

The employee notifies the employer of his desire to extend or postpone the vacation and indicates the desired period of extension or transfer. You need to submit a corresponding application to your employer in which you ask to postpone or extend your vacation due to sick leave.
