How to get an IDP certificate in Diya/Collage 24 channels
The government told how to get a certificate for migrants through the Diya application. With the help of the program, you can get the necessary document without queues and excessive bureaucracy.
The Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine told how you can get a certificate of a temporarily displaced person with the help of DIA. After a few steps, a person will be able to receive a certificate within a few days.
The department reported that the Digitalization Directorate of the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine took part in the preparation and implementation of a number of projects for the use of the Dia, together with specialists from the Ministry of Digital Development.
A certificate from an internally displaced person allows internally displaced persons to receive social benefits provided for by the budget. In Diya, the certificate will be displayed in the same way as other documents – a passport, driver's license, pension certificate, etc.
To get help online, you first need to install the Diya application and register or go through authorization.
How to add a certificate of an internally displaced person in Diya
After a citizen who already has a certificate in paper form has logged in in Diya, an IDP certificate is pulled up if all the information is in the registers.
If the certificate is not displayed, you should contact the social security authorities at your place of residence, the ministry noted.
How to get a certificate of an internally displaced person in DiyaThe ministry emphasized that the service of obtaining an IDP certificate is available for Ukrainians who have displaced from the territories of communities located in areas of hostilities, or who are under temporary siege or occupation.

To get an IDP certificate in Diya, go to Services – Get IDP status – and apply.
After submission, you need to provide the following information about yourself:
- current location (confirm with geolocation);
- data of children who are with you;
- card data is valid;
- needs at the place of stay (in medical care , education or humanitarian aid, etc.).
The Ministry noted that after filling in the data, the internally displaced person's certificate should appear in Diya within a few days. After processing the document information, social benefits will be transferred to the support card indicated in the certificate.
What to do if Dia gives an error
When an application gives an error when filling out help, this may be due to a system overload – perhaps too many users are trying to log in at the same time. In this case, the ministry recommends waiting a bit and trying to issue a certificate again.
You can also register as an IDP at the department of social protection and labor at your location, the ministry noted.

Where else can I get help
If you fail to register as an internally displaced person in Diya, there are several more options where you can get an IDP certificate:
- In the executive bodies of village, township, city councils;
- in centers for the provision of administrative services;
- in structural units for social protection of the population of district, district Kyiv and Sevastopol state administrations, executive bodies of city, district in cities (if they are created) councils.
You can apply for the service in person or through a legal representative. The service is provided free of charge.

With the help of the certificate, its owner can:
- Open bank accounts;
- Restore or paste photographs in the passport of a citizen of Ukraine;
- Receive social payments and compensations;
- Pay taxes at the place of residence;
- Use services at service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- Enroll in a school or kindergarten.
