About 1,000 civilians of the city found their refuge on the territory of the Azovstal plant in Mariupol. And the fighters of the Azov battalion help them survive these difficult times.
The fighters of “Azov” brought something tasty to the children, who are forced to sit in the basements of the enterprise for more than a month. Our military also talked to both the kids and their mothers.
The children haven't seen the sun for almost two months
One of the mothers says that she has been in the basement of Azovstal since March 2 . The husband works at the enterprise. Therefore, she took her little daughter with her to save her life from the Russian invaders.
We really want to go home. And apparently not at home, she says.
She also added that she hopes for a humanitarian corridor, because food supplies are already running out. Another woman says that she spent more than 50 days in the basements of the plant. She is also a relative of one of the company's employees.
Here, it seemed to us, was the safest at the moment when we got here. There were shellings, and our houses were already uninhabitable. That's why we decided to move here. And since February 25, we have been here (at the Azovstal enterprise – channel 24) all the time, – she added.

A woman with tears in her eyes asks for an opportunity to leave for the peaceful territory of Ukraine. She emphasizes that not only women are trapped, but also children. Moreover, some of them are just babies.
The children themselves say that they have not seen the sun for more than a month, they have not seen the sky. And they dream of getting out of the plant safely.
The Ukrainian side is doing everything possible to evacuate people from Azovstal. At the same time, everyone is well aware that infidels are constantly tearing down humanitarian corridors and firing at columns. Therefore, they cannot guarantee the safety of those who are now in the basements of the enterprise.
Moreover, Russian propagandists themselves do not tire of emphasizing that there are no civilians there. Like, there is only a base of the Ukrainian military and that's it. The maternity hospital, we recall, was also called the base of our fighters. Then they fired at him.
