Basic combined arms training for Ukrainian servicemen is being conducted in the UK. The curriculum provides for the acquisition of skills for offensive and defensive operations in urban areas.
The program called Operation INTERFLEX was started by the British government. She is a vivid example of the fact that the civilized world is ready to support Ukraine in the fight against Russian invaders.
What does the British INTERFLEX program involve
General military training Ukrainian military is held on the territory of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It has already been successfully completed by about 5 thousand of our soldiers.
Instructors were experts from Ukraine , Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and New Zealand.
The Ukrainian military received the following skills:
- basic knowledge of tactical medicine;
- fire, engineering and psychological training;
- new skills in offensive and defensive operations in urban areas.

Note that we plan to expand the INTERFLEX operation in the near future . It will include a dedicated training coursetraining of junior commanders of military units and divisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other elements of combined arms training.
How the UK is helping Ukraine
The UK has been openly and decisively since the beginning of Russian aggression supports Ukraine. The United Kingdom regularly provides humanitarian and defense assistance to Ukrainians.
