Tymoshenko on the plan to restore Ukraine
For example, Deputy Head of the President's Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko presented a plan for the construction of housing for IDPs. He did this during a dialogue with Päivi Laine, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Ukraine.
The political leaders agreed on the specifics, in particular, Finland's participation in the restoration of the Chernihiv region. Finland sincerely wants to help this area, both the government and private companies are working on this.
We are ready to provide partners with all the necessary information on objects in need of restoration. First of all, these are residential buildings, schools, hospitals and utilities,” Tymoshenko said.
He also added that Chernihiv region currently needs a quick restoration of more than 4,479 residential facilities.

What will happen to housing for IDPs after the war
Kyrylo Tymoshenko separately presented a plan for the construction of housing for settlers. It was developed jointly with several well-known architectural bureaus and the relevant documentation has already been prepared.
It is planned to build five-story residential buildings within six months in 16 regions of Ukraine – 2,000 apartments in each region. Their cost will be about 7 thousand dollars per square meter. The price includes furniture and equipment.
At the same time, after the de-occupation of the territories and the restoration of the housing stock, people will be able to return to their homes, and these apartments will be transferred to the military, doctors and police officers.
