Recently, Jewish pogroms broke out in Dagestan. But this could have been provoked by the Russian special services.

Political strategist Yuri Podorozhny told Channel 24 , noting that by “flirting” with Middle Eastern terrorist organizations and states, the Kremlin is trying to demonstrate to the Arab world that Russia is its ally. Let us note that at the Makhachkala airport the Dagestanis stormed the flight from Israel.

“The fact that such pogroms are organized is a Russian tradition. It’s understandable why Jews ended up in Dagestan. For some reason they ended up there, why did the population come out there, they began to incite them,” Podorozhny emphasized.

By the way, Vladimir Putin came to Dagestan a few months ago. He brought money there. Thus, the political strategist is convinced, the president of the aggressor country was trying to show his loyalty and “plug holes” in the form of “dissatisfied people.”

Now they are trying to unite Dagestan around a certain enemy,” Podorozhny said.

Will the pogroms continue?

The action, which took place in Dagestan, demonstrated the anti-Semitic characterization of Russia. In order for such pogroms to continue to occur, there must be a concentration of Jews in a certain number.

“The number of Jews who left the territory of the USSR now probably does not make it possible to find compact accommodation. Finding and destroying synagogues, beating them and organizing pogroms there is possible,” the political strategist suggested.

If concentrations of Jews live in Russia, then such anti-Semitic actions are likely to continue. At the same time, the aggressor country is pursuing an anti-Semitic policy internally.

Riots against Jews in Russia

  • There were riots at Makhachkala airport on October 29. Dagestanis “met” the flight from Tel Aviv. They searched for Jews, held Palestinian banners and shouted anti-Semitic slogans. In addition, they made their way onto the roof of the airfield and tried to get into the plane.
  • Russian security forces pushed the protesters back. Several people were injured due to the clashes. Another 60 were detained.
  • Vladimir Putin accused Ukraine of anti-Semitic speeches. They say that the Ukrainian state was trying to “provoke pogroms in Russia” under the leadership of the West. The president of the aggressor country believes that Western countries are trying to “break” Russia from the inside and are using regional conflicts to do this.
  • The Institute for the Study of War noted that one Russian blogger hinted that thanks to the Kremlin's efforts to blame foreign psychological and information operations for the unrest, Russian officials could avoid responsibility.
  • The United States believes that Russia’s statements about accusing Ukraine are absurd. The United States demands that the aggressor country ensure the safety of Jews in Russia.
