The powers of the head of the faction were resigned by deputy Sergei Gladkoskok. Withdrew from the pro-Russian “Opposition Platform – During Life”: Igor Rainin, Anna Vashchenko, Elena Bocharnikova, Nikita Shentsev, Vladimir Yurkov, Leonid Zayarny, Sergey Usenko and Artem Nazarov, Armen Bakmanyan, Maxim Pryadko, Artur Severinov, Rostislav Litvinov, Svetlaya Tatyana Korobko , Vitaly Abramov, Andrey Malysh, Alexander Didenko, Andrey Stronov and Anton Nikolaenko.
However, the lists “to leave” did not include the mayor of Kupyanskaya Gennady Matsegor, who “surrendered” the city to the invaders. These politicians will work as non-factional deputies.
Deputies from the Opposition Platform for Life created a new group in the Kharkiv Regional Council
Sergei Gladkoskok headed the new group “Restoration of Ukraine”. In addition to Gladkoskok, the group included 11 out of 29 MPs elected from the Opposition Platform for Life.
The composition of the deputy group is as follows: Sergey Gladkoskok, Armen Bakmanyan, Maxim Pryadko, Artur Severinov, Rostislav Litvinov, Svetlana Esterovskaya, Tatyana Korobko, Vitaly Abramov, Andrey Malysh, Anton Nikolaenko, Alexander Didenko, Andrey Stronov, said Tatyana Egorova-Lutsenko.

The Opposition Platform for Life Party ceases its activities in many areas
At the end of March, the Opposition Platform for Life Party ceased its activity in the Odesa District Council. The application was received by the head of the district council, Vitaly Barvinenko. The faction was liquidated in the Odessa Regional Council.
In addition, the “Opposition Platform – For Life” ceased its activities under:
- Boryspil City Council;
- Chernivtsi Regional Council;
- Kherson City Councils;< /li>
- Vinnitsa Regional Council;
- Transcarpathian Regional Council;
- Zhytomyr Regional Council;
- Novograd-Volyn City Council;

It should be noted that this process will continue, because on April 13 the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine decided to terminate the activities of the Opposition Platform for Life.
After that, on April 21, the former representatives of the faction in the Verkhovna Rada announced the creation of a new deputy group ” Platform for life and peace”. Yuriy Boyko became its head.
NSDC Secretary Aleksey Danilov reacted to the rebranding of the Opposition Platform for Life. He said that politicians from the party should not rename the party, but apologize and leave the parliament.
Pro-Russian parties are banned in Ukraine
On May 3, the Verkhovna Rada supported the draft law on the prohibition of pro-Russian parties. 330 people's deputies spoke in favor.
Those political forces that publicly deny Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, the annexation of Ukrainian territories and justify the violation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, fall under the ban, – said the people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
The mayor of Mariupol, Vadym Boychenko, commenting on the actions of traitors from the Opposition Platform for Life in the city, noted that there was blood on their hands. And not only Russian invaders are guilty of deaths in the city, but also members of the Opposition Platform for Life faction who collaborated with the occupiers.

- The speaker of the Verkhovna Rada said that 10 people's deputies fled Ukraine. All of them are representatives of the “Opposition Platform – During Life”. Ruslan Stefanchuk explained that, unfortunately, the legislation and the Constitution of Ukraine do not provide for punishment for them. However, the speaker noted that they have no place in the next parliament.
