Zelensky explained the importance of an international tribunal against Russia/Office of the President

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that any tribunal is a long process. Sometimes it happens that people die without waiting for a fair revenge for their relatives.

However, the president noted, the most important thing is that there should be sentences for all those responsible. He announced this at a meeting with media representatives and journalists on Friday, April 29, Channel 24 reports.

You can't just say: “Well, this court, we will not wait for anything.” There must be historical justice when the international community, an international court, a tribunal passes a verdict – this is very important. Sometimes, excuse me, this is much more important than revenge,” the head of state pointed out.

“Because historically no one will forgive. this should be offensive for the people and the state that participated in this, even for subsequent generations,” the politician continued.

Vladimir Zelensky summed up: “For our part, we can push this issue, but we will insist on international tribunal, at all trials. There will be conclusions – there will be verdicts”.
