The White House talked about how Joe Biden met with the leadership of Congress about assistance to Ukraine. In particular, the US President discussed the strategic consequences of inaction for Ukraine, the US and the world.

The American leader also noted the importance of providing Ukraine with the necessary resources. Before this, Ukrainian People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak assured that the leader of the Democrats in the Senate, Chuck Schumer, said about assistance to Ukraine, that “we are closer than ever.”

They said in the White House , that Joe Biden has made it clear that Congressional inaction jeopardizes the national security of the United States, NATO and the rest of the free world.

The President called on Congress to quickly provide additional funding to support Ukraine and send a strong signal of US resolve, the White House explained.

They assured that the US President had made it clear that they must act now to address challenges at the border. Moreover, Joe Biden said he is encouraged by the progress being made in the bipartisan negotiations taking place in the Senate.

“He expressed his commitment to achieving a bipartisan agreement on border policy and the need for more resources at the border. The President called on Congress to quickly pass a full additional program on national security,” the White House said.
