Arestovich called Kyiv's steps towards Mariupol/Photo to the Azov regiment
Aleksey Arestovich spoke about the steps that Kyiv was taking to help Mariupol. In particular, helicopters flew into the city, but the Ukrainian defenders were captured by the enemy.
Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President Alexei Arestovich, in a conversation with Russian human rights activist Mark Feigin, commented on the situation with the support of Mariupol.

My assessment has not changed, Mariupol cannot be released now. Our troops will not pass the steppe under air strikes from Rostov and the Crimea. The siege can be lifted and eased indirectly,” Arestovich emphasized.
According to the adviser to the head of the Presidential Administration, the following steps are being taken to support the city :
- supply Russian troops were interrupted near Mariupol by damage to the Crimea-Melitopol railway;
- Ukrainian defenders attacked the port of Berdyansk;
- Ukrainian helicopters flew to Mariupol, took out the wounded and brought in ammunition and equipment. Later, one of the helicopters was shot down and the fighters were taken prisoner, after which the route became known and cannot be repeated;
- the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine makes any possible movements in Zaporozhye so that part of the troops that could go to Mariupol, went to the flank in the Zaporozhye region. The military is doing everything they can.
Recall, Mariupol has been under siege by the Russians since March 1st. Ukrainian defenders courageously defend the city from the enemy.
