In the Albanian Championship standings, Dvamena leads the scoring race this season with nine goals. He played nine matches for the Ghana national team, in which he scored two goals.
In 2017, English Brighton agreed with Zurich to transfer the Ghanaian footballer for £14 million, but the transfer fell through because Dwamena did not undergo a medical examination – he was diagnosed with heart problems.
He played for Levante in La Liga and also played for Real Zaragoza on loan. In 2020, he was fitted with a cardiovascular defibrillator (ICD). A year later, he suffered cardiac arrest during a match for the Austrian Blau-Weiss – the footballer survived thanks to ICD. Dwamena stated that the incident occurred due to the malfunction of the device, so he decided to continue playing without it.
In 2018, information appeared in the media about the interest of Donetsk Shakhtar in Dvamena. Last year the player was on trial in Luhansk Zarya.
