The security service has collected evidence of its ex-chairman Alexander Yakymenko. He cooperates with the Russian invaders in southern Ukraine.
The former head of the SBU Alexander Yakimenko has been hiding in Russia since 2014 due to high treason. At the beginning of a full-scale invasion, he supported the Russian invaders and offered them his help in the war against Ukraine.
The Russians gave Yakimenko a “position” in the occupied Kherson region
< p>The invaders appointed a traitor as the head of the “state security service in the Kherson region” created by Russia.
In this position, he fulfills the tasks of Moscow to spread the Kremlin regime and suppress the resistance movement in the region. To do this, Yakimenko organizes mass repressions against local residents. People are illegally persecuted, kidnapped and subjected to cruel torture.
In his criminal activities, he is “accountable” to the FSB personnel, coordinating the repressive bodies of Russia in the occupied regions.
It was he who ordered to make a torture chamber in center of Kherson
During the occupation of Kherson, the “official” gave instructions to seize one of the offices in the city center. In the basement of this building, the Russians set up a dungeon, into which illegally detained citizens were taken. There, they were “beaten out” of their recognition in assisting the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and then offered to receive an “amnesty” for money.

Thus, the head of the local “branch” of the FSB and his accomplices literally made money on mass repressions, and also made “indicators” in front of the Russian “curators”.
According to the investigation, in the ranks of the occupation body Alexander Yakymenko personally attracted 8 more traitors, who were directly involved in the torture of civilians After the liberation of Kherson, the “official”, together with his henchmen, fled to the left bank of the Kherson region and it is there that he is hiding from justice.
Based on the evidence collected, the investigators The SBU informed the former general and 8 of his accomplices of suspicion under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 2 of Article 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);
- Part 2 article 111 (high treason committed under martial law);
- article 260 (creation of paramilitary or armed formations not provided for by law);
- part 2 of article 28, part 1 of article 438 ( violation of the laws and customs of war).
Currently, complex actions are underway to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Events to expose and document crimes were carried out by employees of the SBU of the Kherson region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
