The head of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia Alexander Kamyshin resigns. Now his duties will be performed by Evgeny Lyashchenko, a member of the board.
Note that Kamyshin is waiting for a new position in the company. By a joint decision with Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Kubrakov, he will head the office for European integration of Ukrzaliznytsia in Europe.
Who will act as the head of Ukrzaliznytsia
Orest Logunov, a member of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia, said that Yevhen Lyashchenko, a member of the board, will act as the head of the company.
Yevgeny Lyashchenko will perform the duties – he is powerful, with a high degree of trust, – Logunov said.
The board member also noted that Kamyshin independently made his decision.
“The formality will be observed,” Logunov stressed.
What is known about Lyashchenko
- Since 2012, Evgeny Lyashchenko has served as Financial Director of Media Group Ukraine.
- On July 1, 2014, he became the director of the holding, which was part of the media business of Rinat Akhmetov's SCM group.
- Evgeny Lyashchenko worked as a director of the holding until 2019.

Kamyshin thanked Zelensky for evaluating his work
The Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia thanked Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov for appreciating their work in the position. He did not bypass the attention of the company's team.
“I am grateful to the best “iron team” in the country, to the railroad workers – real iron people, and to everyone with whom I crossed paths at work,” Kamyshin emphasized.
