In September, the energy system of Ukraine, most likely, will not experience a shortage of capacity due to the commissioning of the sixth of the nine available nuclear power units with a capacity of 1,000 MW.
This was stated by the President of NNEGC Energoatom Petr Kotin.

— I think September will be uneventful. The 1,000 MW that we have just added is a lot of power. Remember last February: the blackouts stopped when we connected the block-thousander, he told reporters on Thursday.
At the same time, Kotin noted that in 10 days it is planned to connect the seventh unit, the capacity of which is also 1,000 MW, and within a month — the other two.
— We started launch operations on the seventh block. After its inclusion, the total capacity will be 6.4 GW. Then, with the two remaining units, we will reach 7.4-7.6 GW. And so we will work until the summer, — the head of Energoatom described the prospects.
