He does not admit his mistakes: will Putin agree to negotiations with Ukraine Melania Golembyovskaya

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the second Peace Summit should put an end to the war, the foundation for it will be the plan for our country's victory, so that it would be possible to talk with Russia in any format. However, the Kremlin is not eager to sit down at the negotiating table with Ukraine.

Vladimir Putin does not recognize Ukraine as an independent player and denies the presence of Ukrainian regular troops in the Kursk region. Former KGB officer Sergei Zhirnov told Channel 24 that the Kremlin will agree to negotiations only under one condition.

Are negotiations with Putin's Russia realistic?

In order for Russia to agree to negotiate with Ukraine on the terms of our country's peace plan, according to the former KGB officer, Putin must be killed or removed from power.

As long as Putin is in the Kremlin, Russia will not officially agree to sit down at any negotiating table. Putin is an inadequate person who does not admit his mistakes, Zhirnov emphasized.

According to him, the Russian dictator does not perceive Ukraine as an equal and sovereign party. His rhetoric often mentions the United States, NATO, and the West, but not Ukraine as an independent player.

That is why Putin says that if Russia needs to negotiate with anyone, it will be the West directly, not Ukraine, the former KGB officer noted.

The Russian dictator will never admit that the victory plan that Zelensky is bringing to the United States is a plan for the victory of sovereign Ukraine relative to the victory of Russia.

In addition, Putin has still not admitted that there are regular Ukrainian troops on Russian territory in the Kursk region. He still says that bandits and terrorists are operating there.

Note! Analysts at the Institute for the Study of War claim that Russia continues to publicly demonstrate its disinterest in any peaceful settlement. The Kremlin is only interested in the capitulation of the Ukrainian government and the destruction of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said that Russia will study the plan for Ukraine's victory when the document is made public.
