National Guardsman Roman Krivdyk was an actor, entrepreneur and public figure in civilian life. Now he helps the mobilized to prepare for hostilities.
Roman works as a military medical instructor. He also has combat experience – in 2015-16 he fought in the Donbass.
The first summons came to Roman Kryvdik back in 2014. It was then that his child was born. The husband went to the draft board, but he was released. However, a year later, Roman was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine – he went to carry out combat missions near Avdiivka.
Preparation is the most important stage for the military
Now Roman serves in one of the divisions of the National Guard, where he helps the newly mobilized citizens in every possible way. According to him, a battle of civilizations is currently taking place on the territory of Ukraine. On the one hand – totalitarianism, on the other – democracy and freedom.
Although Roman was not going to connect his life with the army, he understands that now he needs to help the country stand against the enemy.

I'm a humanist by nature, so I never wanted to connect my life with the army. But when an enemy broke into your house and intends to kill your compatriots, destroy the country, then a normal man cannot have two thoughts. Therefore, I again took up arms,” says Roman Kryvdyk.
The military man is sure that Ukraine will definitely win.
